Description

I am out kayaking in the very late afternoon, kayaking in the shadows on the edge of one of my favorite lakes, and spot the immature bald eagle in the top of my favorite pine on the lake. I have photographed this pine, many times, been under it many times, and never have I seen one of the adult or young eagles on it. The nest is in a tall pine near here. But ~ how fun to see it sit there as I pass by under the tree.
