Artist's Description
It is the 28th of January and 40 degrees out. Two days in a row of it. Quite the January thaw. The pools of water on the rocks above Lake Superior have thawed making these reflection shots a reality. Usually they would be under ice and snow this time of year. So, it was an interesting day on the shore ~ and a pretty one.
About Sandra Updyke
I am an outdoor gal, having lived in Hovland, Minnesota my entire life. I love doing anything outdoors. I have always been interested in art, photography and wildlife. They all work well together. I like to take photos to show the beauty of nature as it really is....as I see it. I don't feel a need to use Photoshop to do a lot of enhancing...

The little reflecting pool isn't as deep now so I couldn't pick up all of the reflection of the rock like I could when it was full of water. Still pretty. And, such beautiful color in the sky for reflections today. :)

The reflection is almost better then Hollow Rock itself. One of your best!
